Organizational Culture Coordinator

To advance the mission of Operation Mobilization, this position will strengthen connection and collaboration across OM staff in the U.S. by coordinating and executing cross-functional events, communications and projects that bring people together around the org mission, goals and values. This position will also support execution of People Care projects.
Job Summary
The organizational Culture Coordinator will facilitate meaningful connection points for OM staff in the US to pray, fellowship and collaborate. They will proactively engage OM staff in the U.S. in upcoming events, celebrations and culture topics, resulting in improved fellowship and staff feeling well-informed. Finally, this role will effectively coordinate one-off projects within Culture, Prayer and People Care, resulting in better care of OM staff in the U.S. and sent workers.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Meeting & Event Planning – oversee all-team event planning, including designing agendas, coordinating with presenters and volunteers, arranging production support and catering.
- Constituent Communications – create warm, clear, timely and engaging communication to OM constituents about upcoming events and culture announcements.
- Project Coordination – assist VP Strategy & Culture in moving forward one-off projects within Pray and Care initiatives, including collaborating with Prayer Coordinator, Director of People Care or HR team members.
- Look ahead to plan upcoming team events (VTC, Focus Day, town halls) by creating agendas and coordinating with presenters and production volunteers.
- Lead Team Life volunteers to plan quarterly activities and annual Christmas party.
- Collaborate with Prayer Coordinator, Director of People Care, Kingdom Connect Planning Group and Executive Assistant to the CEO to ensure prayer, care and hospitality inform team connection points.
- Collaborate with HR to incorporate employee appreciation, birthday and milestone recognition into team events.
- Schedule events and send calendar invitations; maintain annual team life calendars.
- Oversee office lunches and arrange signups and catering (if necessary).
- Craft emails and Teams posts to communicate culture happenings to OM staff in the U.S. Collaborate with People Care team to create quarterly communication resources for overseas workers.
- Assist VP of Strategy & Culture in planning, coordinating and executing Pray and Care projects as they arise. Assist in launching annual engagement surveys (US and overseas staff).
- Collaborate with Director of People Care and Prayer Coordinator to find ways to regularly connect US staff / departments to overseas workers.
- Assist Prayer Coordinator in creating prayer guides and resources.
- Track staff and constituent engagement metrics for Pray and Care dashboard.
Qualifications and Skills
- High level of ability in interpersonal and written communication; ability to communicate with multiple constituent groups. High emotional intelligence.
- Experience and demonstrated ability in agenda design and coordinating volunteers.
- Experience in event planning or hospitality preferred.
- Proficient in Microsoft, including Office, Teams, Forms, PowerPoint and Excel.
- Proficient in Canva or equivalent app to design attractive graphics and videos.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Perform or assist with any assignments as required or directed.
- This position may require lifting up to 25lbs
