VISION

We are excited to pilot an opportunity for remote workers to live, work and serve globally. Countries around the world are luring virtual workers to come and live through easy visas, adventure, and lower cost of living than the United States. We believe this opportunity represents a strategic window of opportunity for cross-cultural discipleship as Jesus followers work and live alongside local residents. Remote workers (digital nomads) who bring skills and experience will have unique opportunities to be salt and light – allowing them to embrace their work and community as the primary arena for living out their faith.

PARTICIPANTS

A select and carefully vetted group of participants recruited for the 2023 soft launch to gather data and test the concept. As we pilot this program, we will support participants in taking their existing job and working fully remotely. Candidates will be evaluated on their ability to create content and gather data before being selected. Soft-launch participants will need to be entrepreneurial and experienced travelers.

COMMUNITY

An expat team and an existing community of Jesus followers will welcome participants, helping them find their feet, introducing them to the country and its culture, and connecting them to a vibrant local or international church community.

FINANCES

As a remote work program, participants will be required to cover their own cost of living through their existing career. OM coaches will advise on suggest cost of living in each location, but it is up to the participant to also do their own research and make their own financial decisions.
