OVERVIEW: The Data and Communication Lead plays a crucial role in maintaining and managing data systems while ensuring exceptional care for participants. This position is responsible for the upkeep of dashboards, monitoring fundraising activities, and providing comprehensive support to participants. This role will provide support specifically to the Events Manager in providing data support for logistics, planning, and organization for Challenges and events. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, data-savvy, and dedicated to enhancing the participants' experience.

HIGH LEVEL OBJECTIVES:
•Data Maintenance and Analysis: Upkeep and maintain dashboards, monitor total fundraising activities, and cross-compare data with Givebutter. Provide necessary data insights to maintain and improve functionality of the team.
•Campaign Management: Ensure the proper creation and functioning of Givebutter campaigns, collaborate with team members to solidify event language, update resources and templates, and assist in building event logistics data and documentation as necessary.
•Participant Care: Respond to emails, manage participants in challenges, ensure they are subscribed to emails and set up their fundraising pages, and provide support for any issues related to fundraising pages, communications, or donations.
•Event support – Organizing participant information and event data to assist the Events Manager in coordinating logistical preparations.

DAY-TO-DAY ACTIVITIES:
•Maintain and update dashboards regularly.
•Monitor and analyze fundraising data, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
•Main point of contact for the operation of Givebutter campaigns, which includes campaign creation and ensuring smooth flow of data.
•Provide the team with necessary data insights to improve overall team outcomes.
•Collaborate with team members to create and update event resources and templates.
•Respond to participant inquiries and provide support for fundraising activities.
•Manage participant data, ensuring they are subscribed to emails and receive communications.
•Assist with check processing, including manual entry, providing instructions, and following up with the finance team and participants.
•Address questions about past recurring giving and assist participants in applying funds to future events.
•Provide fundraising support, including gauging participant sentiment, offering guidance, and providing resources and tools.

TEAM PARTICIPATION:
•Actively participate in the Freedom Challenge and Global Generosity teams.
•Collaborate in task forces or working groups that facilitate cross-department collaboration.
•Model the culture of OM USA.

CREDENTIALS/REQUIRED EDUCATION:
•Proficient in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel.
•Previous experience in non-profit organizations.
•Strong customer support and care skills.
•Strong data management and analysis skills.

OTHER DUTIES:
•Perform or assist with any assignments as required by the Director or Events Manager.
•This position may require some lifting up to 25lbs.
