Manager of Mid-Level Development

Job Summary
The purpose of this role is to establish and achieve annual generosity revenue goals for OM USA’s funding priorities, with an increase in giving year over year by creating and implementing short, intermediate, and long-term Mid-level donor gift strategies. This role would also be responsible for annually increasing the number of new donors who give at the Mid-level, improving annual retention of existing Mid-level donors, and annually increase the amount given by Mid-level donors.
Major Responsibilities and Duties
• Identify, qualify, cultivate, solicit, steward, and retain qualified relationships within a
portfolio of mid-level donors capable of giving $1,000 - $25,000
• Partner with GG Regional Directors and other members of the team to coordinate the stewardship
of donor relationships
• Coordinate webinar events spotlighting OM Global and USA top priorities, for donors and
potential donors in the portfolio of all front-line team members
• Establish an annual “Departmental Annual Plan,” including production and revenue goals in
consultation with the Mid-level Director
• Participate in team meetings as necessary to accomplish development goals for OM USA

Focused Responsibilities
• Segment (new, sustained, and upgraded) and manage relationships with approximately five hundred
donors (qualified and potential)
• Complete thirty-five outbound phone calls a day, four days a week, with at least fifteen of those
including live conversations, five of those including solicitations, and at least one gift
committed. OM will provide unlimited, qualified donors and prospects to the
Senior Manager to ensure success. OM will also provide compelling case materials,extensive professional development, and a team of twenty-five professional colleagues who will
support and encourage the Senior Manager.
• Donor communications and “touches” will rely heavily on traditional remote methods (email, phone
calls, letters, text and social media) and technology driven means (video conferences, webinars,
social marketing, phone apps) while face-to-face meetings will occur on rare occasions.
• Communicate OM’s vision, mission, and funding priorities knowledgably and persuasively

Qualifications and Skills
• A committed Christian and in agreement with OM USA Statement of Faith and mission
• 3-5 years’ direct experience soliciting and closing hundreds of gifts annually, where a donor gives $1,000 to $25,000 cumulatively every 12 months.
• Strong work ethic and ability to work remotely and independently with a dedicated workspace with no visual or audible interruptions during work hours and reliable high-speed internet access.
• Able to maintain confidentiality, non-disclosures, and manage sensitive, secure information
• Good organizational skills and ability to prioritize assigned tasks
• Excellent communication skills, including the ability to write and speak clearly and effectively, and to listen well, as well as have the ability to inspire excitement about our mission
• Able to collaborate well with people of different generations, gender, race, and ethnicities
